I Am Trying to Break Your Heart
Jeff Tweedy is an amazing song writer. I am baffled by many of the lyrics, but as Mona says, “I love the feel of it.” It’s a great song to play live and much different than most of the sad moody songs I often play. It builds slowly with each instrumental section getting wilder and wilder until I’m finally screaming over the wildness – then it comes down quickly and leaves me breathless.
